Group Visits

In March we had a group visit to Montacute Pavilion and Gardens and the private garden from Renaissance Tours in Sydney. The tour, called Captivating Chic, was led by Professor Peter McNeil of University of Techology, Sydney. It was a fashion themed tour that brought people from Sydney to see the Coco Chanel exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. In Daylesford they visited Manteau Noir and Montacute Pavilon.

We provided a lavish afternoon tea at Montacute, followed by a tour of the gardens, including the private gardens where new developments are underway that will eventually be available for wedding photography, including the Ruined Abbey, Juliet Balcony, Oiserie Bridge, and Epithalmic Gate.

Our visitors enjoyed themselves:

‘Highlight was Australian Ballet and Chanel. Seeing Montacute Pavilion and the passion of David Marshall in planning and executing that garden and house.’

‘ … home-made lunches and afternoon teas provided at some of the venues were all absolutely delicious…’
