Many of our guests at Montacute Pavilion and Gardens are families with young children. Children love the garden. There are lots of things to discover, such as statues of Pan, Meleager, Buddha … and is that the Easter Bunny? And birds. The garden is great for hide-and-seek. It is great for that school holiday getaway which is fun for both children and parents.
Parents can have the full romantic getaway experience upstairs (the staircase door can be locked from the upstairs side), while the children occupy the downstairs bedroom (two single beds or one king configurations available). From there they have access to the kitchen, sitting room, TV, and the garden outdoors. Traditional board games are available in the downstairs cupboard (Scrabble, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit).
